To bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.
Isaiah 61:3
Now
Hi, I 'm Kat!
I'm so glad you're here.
My personal tagline, if there is such a thing, is that I am an ordinary woman, with an extraordinary God.
When I was girl, the things that happened to me were not discussed out loud. Maybe in whispers, but not in a way that felt safe. …never safe. In the secrets was an abundance of confusion and shame. Because of hidden circumstances, it’s easy for a child to assume responsibility for those atrocious things, when in reality, they are only a child, a victim, an innocent. We all have those events or a version of such in our past that have broken us. But the good news of the Cross, is that being broken, is the best place to be! In that place of brokenness, of self-surrender, is a restoration and a freedom that you have never known.
My mission in life is to reach out to those who are lost and broken-hearted by sharing God's Word and my own personal testimony. I tell you, God has allowed me to see some things -- and all for His glory! On this journey with me, is my amazing husband, Dean Arnold, and a host of both family and friends as well as a wonderful support team.
In my spare time or my get-alone-with-Jesus-time or my get-my-attitude-right-time…which I may need more often than I care to admit…you can find me fishing. I love being outside and appreciating what God has made for us to enjoy. There is nothing quite like being on a still body of water to get me refocused on what matters. I often refer to myself as "Bought, Caught & Released" because I fish not only for bass but also for souls, spreading the message of Jesus Christ. In addition to fishing, I'm an avid hunter and enjoy various outdoor sports.
